How long does it take to build a website?
We aim to produce a single-page design concept in 3 working days.
Once you’re 100% happy with the concept, we typically take a further 3 working days for a small site, or up to 10 working days for a large site.
What do you need from me to get started?
The ideal website brief for a standard website would include:
- A full document detailing your business, the services you offer and any information relevant to customers
- Branding files in vector format
- Media you want included on the site such as photos or videos
- Any technical documentation to be used on-site
If you don’t have any of these to hand, we’ll do our best to fill in the blanks!
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes!
Your website will be optimised for desktop, laptop, tablets and mobile phones, to ensure visitors have a seamless experience (although we unfortunately don’t optimise your website for the Samsung Smart Fridge!).
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes!
We provide full access and training to manage the website content yourself (and we take daily backups in the event something breaks!)
Do you provide ongoing support?
Yes!
We offer full aftermarket support for either technical support or full content management support.
Ongoing support is available either on our Managed Hosting Plan at £40 + VAT / month (quarterly health checks and security updates, and 1 hour of content amends per month), or at £40 + VAT / hour for one-off works..
Do you provide tech support if the website goes down?
We have 24/7 tech support monitoring server related issues, with a 99.99% uptime.
If you accidentally break something while making content amends, the hosting related issues will be attended during our office-hours from 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
I already have a website, can you redesign it?
Yes!*
*Not really a yes then is it! More of a maybe. We’ll review your current website and will only quote a redesign if it’s something we feel we are well-suited to completing, and will be something we can improve upon!
What platform do you use to build the website?
Most of our websites are built on WordPress, although we can look at custom solutions built using Next.js if that’s what takes your fancy!
